Riverfront Park
Spokane's most iconic destination — home of the 1974 World's Fair. Ride the Numerica SkyRide gondola over Spokane Falls, spin on the Looff Carousel, let the kids loose on the Red Wagon, and walk the paths past the clocktower.

to an evening of vows, candlelight, and considerable dancing — in the city where one of us grew up, and where the two of us very nearly met a couple of decades early.

How we got here
We both chose the University of Washington. We also both chose business. We also, somehow, both chose accounting — which tells you either everything or nothing about how this was always going to go. Go Dawgs.
But we didn’t meet on campus. A recruiting event took Patrick back years later, and he met Brenna at a bar nearby.
The rest, as they say, is history — we dated for a few years before first living together in London. A while after that, we bought a house in Seattle without ever setting foot in it.
And now we live very happily in Green Lake with Soča, our Mexican immigrant husky, who lives a life of relaxation and squirrel temptation.
Patrick spent a few childhood vacations at his great-grandmother’s place a few blocks from Audubon Park. Brenna grew up right there. Same trees, same sidewalks, roughly the same era — and no idea. Did we ever cross paths? We choose to believe so.
Drag the map sideways to follow both paths.

In the Marie Antoinette Ballroom. Bring a handkerchief.
Drinks and mingling while we sneak off for a few photographs.
Make a weekend of it
The falls, the wine, the haunted-looking bookstore — our favorite corners of the city, mapped and ready.

Riverfront Park's skating ribbon — ice skating in the cold months, roller skating when it's nice out. Check the park's site for hours before you go.
Need a relaxing afternoon? Catch a movie at the AMC in River Park Square — reclining seats and all. A staple whenever we're in town.
